Shakado 02 — MirageDesk A tiny local window control tool for previewing, switching, hiding, and restoring open windows from a single floating button. MirageDesk is a small, focused Windows utility that helps you manage visible windows with one small floating control instead of manually minimizing, restoring, and reordering multiple windows. It is built for everyday work on a single 8GB office PC: fast, lightweight, and local-first. Why it exists - You sometimes want to reach the desktop or a file behind many open windows without stopping your flow. - You sometimes want to bring back just one window without restoring everything. - You want a lightweight local utility that stays simple, fast, and offline. 30 seconds to use 1) Launch MirageDesk.exe and wait for the small floating button to appear. 2) Hover to preview, then use the mouse wheel or vertical scrub to switch the target window. 3) Click to toggle one window, or hold for 1.2 seconds and release to hide all / restore the last set. What it does - Previews the current target window from a floating control - Switches the target with wheel or scrub - Toggles one window with a click - Hides all visible windows or restores the last set with a hold-and-release action IT & Security Facts - No network communication - No telemetry - No account required - No admin rights required - No forced auto-update - Local-only settings storage Compatibility & Stability - Windows 10 / 11 (x64) - Designed for local use - Tested against DPI, multi-monitor, and Explorer restart differences Windows SmartScreen / first-run notice On some PCs, Windows may show "Windows protected your PC".
